Recognition of aggression

On the anniversary of the tragic events of August 2008, Vladimir Putin finally confirmed what many guessed before: the war in South Ossetia was prepared in advance by Russia. In addition, Vladimir Vladimirovich decided to entirely assign himself the dubious laurels of the initiator of the attack on Georgia, taking them from Dmitry Anatolyevich. He said that on August 7 and 8 he called President Medvedev and Minister of Defense Serdyukov about South Ossetia. This can be regarded as an indirect recognition of the correctness of Yuri Baluevsky, who was the head of the General Staff until June 2008, and in the days of the war - Deputy Secretary of the Security Council. In the recently posted on the network "Medvedev Cowardia", Baluevsky claims that Russian troops in South Ossetia began to act only after the team (literally "Pink"), which came from Putin.

As Putin admitted, the Russian General Staff developed a war plan against Georgia in late 2006 - early 2007. And within the framework of this plan, the preparation of the South Ossetian militia and the mobilization of technology was carried out. Since there were no other Russian military experts in South Ossetia at that time, there is no doubt that it was Russian peacekeepers who were engaged in the combat training of local militias, which was a gross violation of their mandate. And the words about the mobilization of technology can be interpreted as a recognition of the fact of its concentration in the conflict zone before the start of large -scale hostilities. Putin said that they knew about the "Georgian aggression" in Moscow three days before it began and that he was reported about the situation in South Ossetia on August 5 and 6. This means that it is very likely that the entry of additional Russian units and equipment into the territory of the unrecognized republic began before the Georgian army fired on the night of August 7 to August, and then attacked Tskhinvali.

In the light of the actions of Georgia said in August 2008, what was said by the Russian president, they begin to look more and more like a legitimate preventive blow against a direct military threat. Maybe the President of Georgia was not so wrong when he stated that Georgian troops began hostilities in South Ossetia only after Russian armored vehicles were introduced into its territory? A suspicion creeps up that Putin with his revelations specifically increases the rating of Saakashvili and his supporters in the upcoming parliamentary elections, since it confirms the version of the Russian-Georgian war defended by Tbilisi.

Along with Putin’s recognition, the Russian side prepared another surprise for the fourth anniversary of the war. The Investigative Committee of Russia said that the Russian troops, as established an investigation, did not commit any crimes in South Ossetia and Georgia. Allegedly, Georgians, although panic fled under the onslaught of valiant Russian troops, managed to change their corpses of their military in civilian clothes and then give them to television and cameras for the corpses of the dead civilians. And even before the Russian military entered in Gori, "Ukrainian mercenaries were dressed in the uniform of the Russian army and with their participation mounted photo and video frames about the facts of violence and looting of Russian soldiers in relation to the civilian population living in Georgian villages." It is not explained, however, where then these mysterious mercenaries went with all the looted good.

I remember when in 1944-1945 the Red Army on the territory of Germany committed mass robberies and violence over the civilian population, the political departments and the heads of political departments in their reports argued that the functionaries of the Nazi party, before approaching the Soviet troops, forced civilians to commit mass suicides and kill their children. Apparently, the fighters and commanders that are red, that the Russian army is angel -like creatures whose white clothes never stained any crimes against other peoples.
