Anton Oreh: “We are waiting for Lebedev to be free!”

“He could have betrayed his friend, but he didn’t do it. He could have compromised a hundred times with his conscience and the so-called court - but he didn’t do it. Through him they wanted to put pressure on Khodorkovsky, with his help they wanted to ruin the company - and nothing came of it. Therefore One cannot help but pay tribute to the courage of this man - especially since, purely physically, it is very difficult for him to serve. The decision of the Velsky court was unexpected. Nobody thought that Lebedev’s sentence could be reduced so much. and Khodorkovsky are actually in prison for life. Therefore, the fact that Platon Leonidovich can be released in March is great and this is a victory. I don’t know why the authorities have suddenly become so kind. Perhaps they have not decided to tighten all the screws yet."
