Accused of banditry, participants in the attack on Sagra and in the courtroom behave like bandits

The trial continues against the accused who carried out a bandit raid on the Ural village of Sagra. Recall that the conflict at the entrance to Sagra occurred in July last year. It was preceded by a strife between the inhabitants of the village and the gypsy Lebedev family. According to investigators, Ivan Lebedev and Kakhaber Chichua, while in the colony, created an organized criminal group. It was to them that the family turned, who, in an ultimatum form, were asked to leave the village. On the instructions of Lebedev, Shota Katamadze gathered about 30 people who, armed, arrived in Sagra at night. Faig Musaev died as a result of a skirmish with the villagers, two were injured.

In hot pursuit, criminal cases were initiated against the inhabitants of Sagra. But when, thanks to the City Without Drugs foundation and the head of the foundation, Yevgeny Roizman, the story became widely publicized, a real investigation began, taken under personal control by the head of the Investigative Committee, Bastrykin. Participants of the "night raid" were identified and exposed.

The trial began with the announcement of the charges and a questioning of the defendants whether they plead guilty or not. All participants in the attack on Sagra pleaded not guilty. Moreover, they behaved provocatively, starting to intimidate the victims. From the day the court hearings began, obscenities and threats have been heard incessantly against the Sagrinians.

Threats were made not only against the victims. The federal judge Ravil Izmailov also got it, considering the case, which was hit by a stream of insults, the most “decent” of which is “bespectacled Satan”. After verbal attacks by the accused Kakhaber Chichua, the court was forced to remove him from the courtroom until the end of the trial.

Meanwhile, Chichua had previously stated that he did not understand the Russian language and demanded an interpreter. He did not need the services of an interpreter for cursing and selective Russian obscenities.

In addition to the repeatedly convicted Chichua, inappropriate behavior was noted: one of the alleged instigators of the attack on Sagra, Ivan Lebedev (accused of committing crimes punishable under Part 1 of Article 209 (“Banditry”), Part 2 of Article 212 (“Riots”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), Kardash Fattakhov (part 2 of article 209, part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), Fidaris Valiev (part 3 of article 3 3, part 1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), Artem Rabadanov (part 2 of article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). 2 article 209, part 1 article 119, part 1 article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and Shamil Abdurashidov (part 2 article 209, part 1 article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). Those who are under house arrest or released on bail behave calmly. (By the way, another defendant, Trofim Petrishchev, was released on bail of 500,000 rubles on Tuesday).

A total of 23 defendants are involved in the case. The criminal cases against two more participants in the Sagra raid were separated into separate proceedings: Daniil Soshnikov was declared insane, and Magomed Bekov, who was recently detained in Ingushetia, was transferred to the Urals.

Taking into account that the defendants put psychological pressure on the victims, the court decided to interrogate them remotely by organizing a video link between the Sverdlovsk Regional and Verkhnepyshminsky District Courts, where the victims were summoned.

“Conference calls justify themselves in this hysterical environment,” says Anastasia Uderevskaya, a lawyer for the City Without Drugs foundation, who is participating in the case as a lawyer for the victims. - The pressure exerted indirectly confirms the validity of the charges against the defendants.

Sessions in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court are scheduled for every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday until the end of the month.

Meanwhile, passions are heating up outside the court as well. In social networks, the “call for those who are not indifferent” is gaining popularity to come to the trial and support the residents of Sagra.
