The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine in September is ready to bring Yulia Tymoshenko an accusation of involvement in the murder of deputy Yevgeny Shcherban. This was stated in an interview with the Ukrainian newspaper "Today" First Deputy Prosecutor General Renat Kuzmin.
The businessman and deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Evgeny Shcherban was killed at the Donetsk airport in 1996. The victims of the killer also became the wife of Shcherban and an airport employee.
The son of Shcherban Ruslan in April 2012 said that he handed the prosecutor's office documents that testify to Tymoshenko’s involvement in the murder of his father. After that, Kuzmin said that the prosecutor's office had reason to consider the organizer of the murder of Pavel Lazarenko, who acted in the interests of Tymoshenko.
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Pshonka said that the murder executor was transferred from the accounts of Tymoshenko and Lazarenko, controlled by Tymoshenko.
