Surrender of the Severodvinsk submarine is postponed again: the boat has not passed the test

The multi-purpose nuclear submarine "Severodvinsk" of the fourth generation of project 885 "Ash" will be admitted to the Navy no earlier than 2013. This is the third transfer of the deadlines for the submarine under construction.

“On the tests of Severodvinsk, it was revealed that its nuclear power plant does not give out a given capacity. And the boat does not provide the required level of noise. According to him, another reason for the breakdown of the delivery time is the failure to comply with the contracts by the Dagdiselle plant for the supply of a new homing torpedo for submarines of the Yasen class. "There is still no new torpedo with the required characteristics. The product that was created is explosive and therefore cannot be used to armate the submarine, ”the representative of the defense industry explained. If the receipt of a new torpedo for Severodvinsk will continue to be delayed, then a torpedo can be used to be armed with the Kursk type armed

It was previously planned that the submarine will enter in 2010, but the delivery time was postponed for 2011. The reason for this, according to the project representatives, became poor -quality components not related to weapons and combat management systems. For the second time, the date of delivery was postponed due to the unpreparedness of missile systems installed on a boat - at that time they have not yet passed state tests.

Almost all of 2012, Severodvinsk will be at sea in tests: work out missile weapons, electronic weapons and own systems. It is noteworthy that on August 8, First Deputy Minister of Defense, Alexander Sukhorukov, told reporters that the Premier League will have time to complete the tests this year, because, according to him, "penalties are dripping every day." At that time, the submarine was in the White Sea, from where she was supposed to go to tests in the Barents Sea.

The head multi -purpose nuclear submarine of project 885 "Fourth generation" of the fourth generation "Severodvinsk" was designed by the Petersburg Bureau of Malachite. The ship was laid on Sevmash in 1993 and launched on June 15, 2010. In September last year, she went to sea for running tests. The underwater velocity of the Premier League should be more than 30 knots, the maximum immersion depth is 600 meters. The autonomy of swimming is 100 days, the crew is 90 people (32 officers). The cost of Severodvinsk is about 47 billion rubles.

Currently, in the construction there is a second ship - Kazan, which is built on the improved project of 885m "Yasen -M". The submarine was laid in 2010. Until 2020, at least eight boats of this type should be included.
