Kadyrov switched from Ingushetia to Myanmar: asks Putin to be reconciled there

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, asks Russian President Vladimir Putin to draw the attention of the international community to the inter-religious conflict in the west of Myanmar and to contribute to the achievement of peace in this country, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the press service of the Chechen government.

Recall that in Myanmar there are clashes between Buddhists and Muslims in Rakhain. They began after the rape and murder of a Buddhist girl in early June. This crime professing Buddhism Arakans - one of the two main ethnic groups in the state - was attributed to Muslims -Rojinja.

On the third of June, a crowd of Buddhists stopped a bus with ten Muslims on the road and killed them, wanting to avenge the death of a girl. Six days later, a crowd of thousands of Muslims attacked the Buddhist quarters of one of the regional centers of the state and several villages around it, setting fire to houses and beating residents. The “response measures” from the Buddhists followed immediately, and the riots were replaced by combat clashes using cold and firearms.

"On behalf of the millions of Muslims of Russia, I also ask President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to use the whole authority of the head of state - a permanent member of the UN Security Council in order to draw the attention of the world community to the tragedy of the Rohingu people," Kadyrov said.

According to him, the Islamic world knows that Putin makes great efforts to create favorable conditions in Russia for believers of various faiths. And thanks to his policy in multinational and multi -confessional Russia there is no confrontation on religious grounds.

"That is why the citizens of our country and the Islamic world express the hope that Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin during meetings with the leaders of foreign states, representatives of the UN will pay attention to the tragedy of the target people of Rohingya. This will ultimately contribute to the achievement of the interethnic world in Myanmar," Kadyrov said.

Note that Kadyrov’s interests the other day have already gone beyond the borders of Chechnya , however, not so far. He expressed dissatisfaction with the board in neighboring Ingushetia. President Evkurov answered the injections quite peacefully, but between the chapters of the two regions, nevertheless, an absentee dispute arose.
