The second Russian national team traveling across Russia made its next stop in Naberezhnye Chelny, a city where in the 90s there was a major league team, and in the new season KAMAZ voluntarily dropped to the second division. Football is still loved in Chelny, and the arrival of Yuri Krasnozhan’s team is undoubtedly an event, given that teams from Uchaly, Novotroitsk or Syzran are now visiting the city.

However, in any case, it’s a sin for KAMAZ fans to complain in comparison with the Bryansk fans, whom the Russia-2 team visited last year: there is no more professional football there. By the way, the coach of the second team, Yuri Krasnozhan, is the main candidate for the post of head coach of Kuban, so its future is also in question. Although she still has to play in the Challenge Cup on November 14 in Italy.

The current convocation of Krasnozhan suggested that the coach called up the players not so much to test their capabilities, but to encourage young players who had lost their place in the squads of their clubs.

In fact, of those who entered the field in the first team constantly at the start of the season, only Rostov defender Dyakov, Kuban player Ionov, Amkarov player Burmistrov, as well as Krasnodar footballer Smolnikov. And forward Alexander Prudnikov has not even been announced for Spartak yet. In the second half, several representatives of the first division took to the field.

The Belgians arrived as a U-19 youth team, so the Russian team was much more experienced: many of the host players had played in European competitions. But the guests were better teamed, so the start of the match as a whole turned out to be equal, and the Belgian team succeeded in several good attacks - the performance skills of the attackers let them down. However, in the 9th minute, Prudnikov, having received the ball from Yusupov, went one on one with the goalkeeper and gently sent the ball into his hands - perhaps not believing that he was not offside.

In fact, this was the most dangerous moment of the first half of the half.

When the hosts finally seized the initiative, Colin Cosemans' edge at the goal disappeared. The hosts were rescued by Alexei Ionov , who decided the episode single-handedly - he swung the defender on the right flank and accurately shot into the far corner. And just before the break, Prudnikov rehabilitated himself, this time in a duel with the goalkeeper earning a penalty, confidently converted by Alexander Sapeta .

For the second half, the hosts had two Kazan players - Vladimir Dyadyun and Ivan Temnikov , and a little later a representative of the first division - Nikita Bezlikhotnov from Moscow Torpedo - appeared on the field. He soon escalated the game, beat two opponents and was brought down in the penalty area, and Czech referee Pavel Orel not only awarded a penalty, but also sent off the Belgian defender. It was realized by Kirill Panchenko, who was warmly received by Chelny fans: his father, as part of KAMAZ, became the top scorer of the Russian championship in 1993. Before the guests had time to play the ball from the center of the field, Orel awarded another penalty (for a foul against Burmistrov) - and Vladimir Dyadyun volunteered to take it, who also did not miss.

The Russian team, the only one in the group, won two matches: in June in Khimki, the English team, made up of players from the 4th division, was defeated with the same score 4:0. The semi-final opponent will be the team of Turkey, Norway or Wales.
