It was inevitable that this would happen. It is no coincidence that rumors about a repetition of the action came several times from different cities.
This is Vienna. Cathedral of St. Nicholas.
On Facebook, a certain Thomas Draschan wrote today about the action of solidarity held in the cathedral with the arrested members of Pussy Riot and published this photo. Judging by the comments, there was also a clash, either with the guards or with the servants.
I am not a supporter of holding any rituals in churches other than church ones. But the Moscow Patriarchate should be clearly aware that such protests (God grant that they are not more radical) will most likely continue in the future if the girls are not released, and it is unlikely that it will be possible to stop the wave of protests quickly and painlessly. Too many people have been disappointed and even angry by this far from festive story. And it certainly won’t be possible to assign a detachment of riot police to each cathedral for security. Especially in Europe.
