Day of shame of Russia

Here is a photo report from the rally at the Khamovnichesky Court on the day of the Pussy Riot verdict. I already wrote about this shameful day on 08/17/12 and there is nothing to add here. Abomination, muck, brazen police brutality and rampant provocateurs of all stripes. The informers had a blast!

Once upon a time, foreigners called the 1980 Olympics a holiday of the Soviet police; there were too many guys in uniform in the first days on the Moscow streets. But this was an overlay; the visiting policemen were not allowed to take a citizen and they walked around in the evenings in uniform. We walked peacefully.

But August 17 can rightfully be called a grandiose holiday for Putin’s police, who, at the tip of provocateurs or simply at the behest of their hearts, grabbed not only eminent leaders, but, most importantly, the most harmless young guys, broke their hands and threw them into buses, enjoying their absolute impunity. Bliss! And all this to the accompaniment of mournful psalms sung by our good Orthodox citizens, who came to demand that the girls be burned at the stake. This was a must see!

However, as Mayakovsky said, we will not hire anyone to glorify this day. Because all this abomination was filmed by dozens, hundreds of cameras, there is more than enough material and it will not be possible to get away with it. Look. They used to call it “The Lens Reveals.” They called it right.
