Finally, all normal ordinary citizens had the opportunity not only to say what they think about the opposition movement, but also to directly participate in the formation of its governing body through the most correct and honest mechanism - elections.

Registration of candidates for the Coordinating Council of the opposition began .

The elections themselves will be held on October 20-21.
They will take place on the Internet, but with strict verification "one person - one voice." Registration of voters will begin on September 10.

We must destroy the ivory tower in which the self -assembled “leaders” of the “Russian” “political” opposition, who are not connected with voters, are not elected, not taking any responsibility.

Rather, even this from the inside to many seems to many an ivory tower, but rather a rotten, long -rotten stump.
That is why there is such a grand rupture and distrust between the "leaders standing on the stage" and millions of citizens dissatisfied with the thieves' occupation regime, and ready to fight with it by political methods.

This distrust can be overcome only in one way: people themselves must choose those who are trusted by the management of the movement.

I attribute all this criticism to myself. It so happened that the last six months I often sit in the “protest organizing committees” and give interviews as “one of the protest leaders”.
It’s extremely unpleasant for me to hear “Navalny, but who chose you in the leaders”?
Unpleasant, but it's true. Nobody chose.

Simple exercise: make a list of people who occupy "leading positions in the opposition" and try to remember when these people went through competitive election procedures.
You will be horrified.

Over the past 10 years, these have have been exclusively non -alternative elections with tiny Moscow “congresses” and “conferences” of 50 - 100 people, most of which are always salaries.

This is amazing, but in United Russia, with its semi -leafy in -party primaries, now there is more internal democracy and competitive procedures than in the opposition.

People were weaned to fight. Weaned to make responsibility. They were worried about saying "work, otherwise they will not be re -elected."

Representatives of the opposition are customary to be skeptical of these elections, but it seems to me that this is a completely correct and wild idea. The fact is that the last 10 years we have an absolutely Erzatz-Putin opposition-some kind of intra-party intrigues, backstage agreements, each other's accusations of bowing to AP. Only after passing people through the internal democratic mechanism, we can hope that at the exit we received truly responsible and democratically thinking leaders. I see no other opportunity to unite. Only through the elections to a single common body.
People nominate, compete with each other, and then those who have received support are already working in a general, single organ.

These are all wonderful beautiful people who, according to an incomprehensible random principle, sat down at a round table, discussed something. From the first minutes of the discussion, they all hated them (especially those who wanted to sit with them, but they didn’t let him in) and shouted to them "Who are you at all?" The composition was constantly changing. A year later, everything ended.

Because no one chose these wonderful beautiful people. They were not responsible to anyone. They did not take on obligations. They were illegitimate and they themselves knew it very well.

We constantly argue: what is the ideological orientation of the mass folk opposition movement? Liberal hipsters? Left youth? Conservative citizens?
How many nationalists should coil in this boiler, and how many "extra -demonstrative civilian activists"?



Well, here we ourselves have to decide. If we have a technological opportunity to choose “protest leaders” with the voices of dozens and hundreds of thousands of people in direct competitive voting, then why engage in self -enforcement?

One of the most fundamental moments: it is time to give the regions the opportunity to influence the composition of the "leaders" and regional activists to make it possible to compete with Muscovites on an equal footing.

Now it’s not that the Tomsk, but even the St. Petersburg activist, no matter what success has achieved, does not have a single chance to win with the political -playing Muscovite.
After all, his Tomsk (St. Petersburg) asset cannot vote for him. Muscovites are voted by the apparatus at the party conference.

Therefore, if you want to get into a governing body, then you should not engage in an asset, but negotiate with Muscovites.
So we all locked within the MKAD.

Look, maybe not a very correct example, but still.
Google analysts shows that 21 thousand inhabitants of Irkutsk regularly read this diary.

I suppose that at least five thousand of them would not refuse to express their opinion on how they see the “opposition leaders”, and maybe even put forward someone.

Why not? Without them, people are not complete.

Online elections reduce the costs of the election campaign, and an active person from the region can lead the same effective election campaign as any Muscovite.
Prowe yourself an effective politician, sagit several thousand people in your region to register and vote for you - you will pass.

And it is precisely such people that we need now, using the real support of large groups of people, and not just piles of party members.

Registration of candidates is a couple of days only. Five people are registered so far . I am sure there will be five hundred.
Of these five, I know only two: Krasheninnikov and Nemtsov .
Well, it’s cool. The remaining three are some new people from the regions.
They went out and said: yes, we are not a Noah that everything is bad. We ourselves want to come to the forefront and change everything.

So it is necessary.
Do you think the opposition is wretched and weak? Well, you are the opposition. Become a candidate.
Can't you be a candidate? Choose those who you like and support them. Create the headquarters in their support.
Agitee, participate, vote.

I will definitely take part in these elections and will fight for your support. And my comrades too.
I call everyone to that.

We will see a lot of criticism of these elections and attempts to disrupt them.
On the part of the Kremlin, dreaming that the opposition remains in such a miserable state.
From the side of their controlled, pseudo -polation structures that receive financing for eternal spoof.
On the part of people are independent, but too cowardly to go to the polls, daring not to get a prize.
From those who are too proud, and consider themselves too great to fight for leadership with "some there."


But the elections will take place because we need them. This is our chance to get real folk support, leaning on the opinion of dozens and hundreds of thousands of people.

All in the polls, citizens. No one except ourselves, "will not build the right opposition to us."
