The governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachev praised the local authorities, who had to act in a new flood - in the resort village of Novomikhailovsky on the Black Sea.

“The element did not take us by surprise,” the governor emphasized, which is quoted by his press service. Thanks to this, the majority of residents and tourists were able to not only leave the danger zone in time, but also drive cars out of there, take out valuable things.

The governor noted that the serious destruction and mass deaths of people also allowed to avoid the qualitative work on clearing the Nechepsukho River.

“Nevertheless, houses and social facilities - hospitals, schools and kindergartens were seriously affected by the elements. There is an acute issue with water supply, there are problems with its delivery, which means that they must be solved first of all,” the message said.

"Today I saw the main thing - in the village of a worker, a working mood. In the streets, in the yards, people scoop dirt, clean, wash. They do not sit. They do not wait. Although, of course, there is help in all directions," Tkachev said.

In the village of Novomikhailovsky, 8 headquarters of assistance to the victims are already working. The forces of the Ministry of Emergencies, volunteers, builders, medical and social workers, lawyers continue to be pulled into the village.

In Novomikhailovsky, the regional mobile diagnostic center is deployed, said the Minister of Health of the Krasnodar Territory Elena Redko, which is referred to by ITAR-TASS.

17 ambulances are on duty in the village - 8 local ones, and 9 arrived from other cities of the Krasnodar Territory. The assistance to the victims as a result of the flood is provided by 33 doctors in 14 specialties.

"We transported all heavy patients to Krasnodar, to the regional clinical hospital, the Pirogov Federal Center in Tuapse. Patients in a minor condition are transported to neighboring medical institutions by bus," Radiko said.
