Albert Khubiev, 24 years old, was beaten by the detention center employees named by him for asking to take him to the toilet, he cut himself in protest, lost, according to the doctor who stitched him up, about 2 liters of blood and was placed in a punishment cell. He attempted to take his own life, but was literally saved from the loop.

Since there was no reaction from the authorities of the pre-trial detention center to the fact of the beating, Khubiev went on a dry hunger strike and sewed his mouth shut. The hunger strike, according to lawyers, continues for the fourth day. Khubiev is not prosecuted in the most massive political case of the attack on Nalchik on October 13, 2005, in which 58 people are accused and have been awaiting their fate in a pre-trial detention center for the seventh year.

I, A.T. Khubiev, born June 23, 1988, accused under Article 162 Part 2, essentially explain that on August 9, 2012, at about 3:10 p.m., I arrived from the trial to the pre-trial detention center -1, where upon arrival I was placed in a cell for arrivals.

10 minutes after being placed in the arrivals cell, I knocked on the door at approximately 15:20 and wanted to go to the toilet. When an employee of the administration of pre-trial detention center-1 Nakov approached the door and, opening the peephole, began shouting and rudely asking why I was supposedly knocking on the door, to which I asked him to take me to the toilet.

At that moment, when he was shouting and rude to me, other defendants who were also in the arrivals cell heard this, and they can confirm this. After the SIZO-1 employee Nakov opened the door, he also shouted and was rude to me, I turned to him so that he would not shout and be rude to me, but he did not calm down, after which I slightly raised my tone and told him that he is nobody to me and that he has no right to shout and be rude to me, to which he replied that I should go to the toilet, and then he will show me what he has the right to.

At the same time, he said threateningly that he would now call other employees, and they would beat me, and then we’ll see how you talk. After which I went to the toilet. A few minutes later I heard voices from the exit from the toilet telling me to get out quickly, to which I replied that I was already leaving.

Approaching the exit from the toilet, I saw 6-7 employees of the administration of pre-trial detention center-1, who stood blocking my exit from the toilet. The senior rank of them was military captain V.M. Makoev. When I approached the exit, I asked him, namely V.M. Makoev, why so many people had gathered and what was happening.

At that moment, one of the employees of pre-trial detention center No. 1 ran up to me and kicked me. Not understanding what was happening, I wanted to ask something, but again I received a blow to the back of my head. Next, not understanding what was happening, I began to shield my face from the blows. At that moment, I saw a blade from a disposable machine lying on the floor near the entrance to the team.

I grabbed him and began to inflict blows on myself, namely cuts in the neck and abdomen, since I could no longer endure the beatings from the administration of pre-trial detention center-1. After all this, I received a strong blow to the head, causing me to fall. Lying on the floor, I also received blows. Of those I saw, this is an employee of pre-trial detention center-1.

After everything stopped, an employee of the administration of pre-trial detention center-1 Tamazov A. stood above me, asking and pulling away another employee of pre-trial detention center-1. Since Tamazov A. already saw that I had lost a lot of blood. But none of the other employees even tried to stop the arbitrariness on the part of the administration of the pre-trial detention center-1, although there were also: Makoev V.M., Bliev T., Bakhov R., Ivazov A.Yu. I know the others by sight and can identify them.

Also present there were employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs who organize the departure and arrival of persons under investigation for trial, namely the convoy. It was a girl who personally took me to the trial and men whom I know by sight and can identify. There are also CCTV cameras everywhere, which recorded everything that happened in the corridor where I was beaten. Please remove the records and review them.

Further, when an employee of the administration of the pre-trial detention center-1 Tamazov A. pulled away the employee of the pre-trial detention center-1 who was beating me, 10 minutes later the doctors working in the pre-trial detention center-1 came, namely a surgeon and another, I don’t know who his profession is. They came to see what was wrong with me and took me to their office, since I asked them to record the beatings. The doctor filmed the beatings, and there was also a surgeon with him, to whom I also showed my beatings, which were inflicted on me by the staff of pre-trial detention center-1.

After the beatings were over, I was taken back to the preparatory team, and I took my personal belongings from the arrivals cell. There were also other defendants there who were with me. I showed them my beatings and said that I was beaten by the staff of pre-trial detention center No. 1, which they can confirm. I know all of them by sight and can recognize their full names. everyone during the investigation. Further, when I left there, Tamazov A. photographed me.

After that, I was taken to the office of the head of pre-trial detention center No. 1, V.A. Popov, where he was alone. When I went to see him, he told me that if I wanted, he would show me how to cut myself. To which I replied that I had enough already. After that, he asked me why I cut myself. To which I showed my beatings and explained to him that I was beaten by employees of the administration of pre-trial detention center-1. To which he laughed and said that they were locking me in a punishment cell.

When I asked on what basis, he replied that allegedly prohibited items were confiscated from me. When I asked to provide them and review them, he told me that they had confiscated everything, but they did not provide me with anything as evidence. And it was precisely by order of Popov V.A. I was taken down to the basement into a punishment cell. All this time, blood was flowing through the bandage that was tied around my neck. And I became very weak.

Having entered the punishment cell, I turned to the staff of the administration of pre-trial detention center-1 to call me a doctor, because... I feel very bad. When the surgeon arrived, he said that if the wound was not stitched up, then in about an hour I could lose my life, to which I agreed, and they took me to the first floor, took me to the operating room and put me in bed, but I lay there and waited for the doctor, I didn’t I could already move my legs, and I felt severe dizziness, which made me lose consciousness.

And over time, the surgeon brought me to my senses. And, holding on with all their might, they stitched me up. And when we finished sewing, I could no longer stand on my feet, because... I lost about 2-3 liters of blood. This was explained by the surgeon. After all this, the surgeon said that for health reasons I could not be kept in a punishment cell. Afterwards, despite this, when they called the head of pre-trial detention center No. 1, V.A. Popov, he said: let them bring a stretcher and take me to the punishment cell where the defendant Timur Hatefov was.

After I was lowered on a stretcher into punishment cell No. 12, where Timur Khatefov was located, they laid me on the ground, and the staff of pre-trial detention center No. 1 turned to the defendant or defendant Khatefov T. so that he would look after me. When Hatefov T. asked what happened, I also showed him my beatings and told him that the employees of pre-trial detention center No. 1 beat me and also locked me in a punishment cell without reason.

Also, the punishment cell was single-person, and I just lay on the floor. Also, during the three days that I spent there, I received no food except water and bread. Three days later, when my cellmate was sleeping, I made a noose, wrote a suicide letter and decided to commit suicide, because... I could no longer stand it and could not tolerate all these humiliations from the administration of pre-trial detention center-1.

Next, I took a noose that I made from a sheet and hanged myself while T. Khatefov was sleeping. After I climbed into the noose and hanged myself, I don’t remember anything, because. I immediately passed out. Having come to my senses in the punishment cell, I saw the employees of pre-trial detention center No. 1 standing over me.

I ask you to bring to criminal responsibility the employees of the administration of pre-trial detention center No. 1, who on August 9, 2012 beat me and put me in a punishment cell without reason, also did not feed me, thereby driving me to SUICIDE.
