In Perm, fifteen police officers were dispatched to detain a participant in a single picket. The local Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the picketer hung an offensive poster on his chest. The URA.Ru agency, citing law enforcement officers, reports that the poster bore the popular slogan “Putin is a thief.” However, Ekho Moskvy in Perm, citing eyewitnesses, indicates that the text on the poster was slightly different: “PUTIN SHOULD NOT STEAL.”

One way or another, the detainee is charged with an administrative offense under the article on insult, for which a fine of from one thousand to three thousand is imposed.
