The sales channel for synthetic drugs has been blocked in Yekaterinburg
FSB officers managed to block the channel for distributing synthetic drugs via the Internet in the Sverdlovsk region, the press service of the Russian Federal Security Service for the region reported on Wednesday.
According to the FSB, two Russians purchased narcotic mixtures in Moscow and, using the services of transport and courier companies, delivered them to the Sverdlovsk region, where they distributed them.
“On August 28, during an operational operation, these persons were detained by FSB officers while receiving another parcel with 400 grams of the synthetic drug NDPV,” the statement says.
During the investigation, a cache with a portable safe was discovered in the basement of one of the houses in Yekaterinburg, which contained prepackaged narcotic substances ready for sale, as well as scales, packaging material and more than 80 SIM cards from various telecom operators.
Based on this fact, the investigative department of the FSB Directorate for the Sverdlovsk Region opened a criminal case under Part 3 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The detainees have been arrested.
