Governor of the Samara Region Nikolai Merkushkin will increase wages for some categories of teaching workers by 30%-50% from September 1, the government press service told the Interfax-Povolzhye agency.
“From September 1, a decision was made to significantly increase the salaries of some categories of teachers. And for doctors working in schools, the increase will be up to 50%. We will look in detail at the situation by region and city and will take a differentiated approach to remuneration for teachers who have a heavy workload and good results. work,” the press service quotes the governor as saying.
In particular, the salaries of additional education teachers, psychologists, social workers, speech therapists and additional vocational education workers will increase by 30%. Salaries will be 40% higher for employees of institutions of primary vocational education and secondary vocational education, and 50% for school doctors.
“In 2013, the regional authorities set the task of bringing the average salary of employees of preschool educational institutions to the industry average. In addition, the issue of free medical examinations for employees of educational institutions and the introduction of preferential mortgages for young teachers and doctors will be resolved,” the message says.
