The road to the temple is paved with forgeries

In the naive eighties, the intelligentsia loved to quote Tengiz Abuladze’s film “Repentance” and thoughtfully talk about the road leading to the Temple. Of course, to the Temple with a capital T, a symbol of goodness and justice.

Perhaps such heavenly temples exist somewhere, but only in another time and space. But in reality (specifically, in the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow) they have long become a symbol of xenophobia and undisguised acquisitiveness, which is what this so- called story tells.

In general, I really want government money, or how the cunning priests wanted to build the same temple twice.
