In the city of Kungur, Perm Territory, a 14-year-old girl died after jumping out of the window of a high-rise building on Monday morning, a representative of the ICR Investigative Directorate for the region told the Interfax-Volga region agency.
According to him, the police received a report of child suicide at around 9 a.m. local time from the house concierge.
“Employees of the investigative committee and forensic experts went to the scene to clarify the circumstances of the teenager’s death. A pre-investigation check is being carried out. It was established that the child jumped from the 8th or 9th floor,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
“The family in which the girl lived is characterized as prosperous and not registered. Whether the child had problems with peers that forced her to commit this act will be investigated by the investigation - while the ICR employees do not have this information,” the representative of the department emphasized.
