A competition has been announced for the construction of transport hubs

The capital's authorities have announced a competition for the development of ten transport hubs, which will combine ground transport stops and a metro station under one roof. Such nodes should appear near the Semenovskaya, Shchukinskaya, Taganskaya, Filevsky Park and Pionerskaya metro stations.

Information about ongoing competitions appeared on the government procurement website. The auction is conducted by a structural unit of the Moscow Construction Department - GKU UKRIS (State Treasury Institution for the Major Repair of Apartment Buildings). It is expected that as a result of the competition, 300 million rubles. will be spent on “carrying out work on the arrangement of transport hubs at Moscow metro stations.”

Let us remind you that the transport hub combines a bus stop, metro station, railway station and parking, so passengers can transfer from one type of transport to another with minimal time. One of the largest transport hubs in Moscow is located near the Tushinskaya metro station; it was reconstructed in 2011. The construction of 58 transport hubs in the region and 55 in the capital is provided for by the project “Program for the development of the transport complex of the Moscow region for the period 2010–2015 and for the future until 2020.”

According to the technical documentation for the competition, transport hubs should appear before 2013 near the Semenovskaya metro stations (the initial contract price is 18.8 million rubles), Shchukinskaya (16.7 million rubles), and Taganskaya ( 12.3 million rubles), Filevsky Park (49.9 million rubles), Skhodnenskaya (31.85 million rubles), Babushkinskaya (41.3 million rubles), Perovo (39 .9 million rubles), Lyublino (34.4 million rubles), Pionerskaya (15.5 million rubles) and Novogireevo (40.8 million rubles). According to the terms of the contracts, canopies, waiting pavilions, barriers (blocking the entry of personal vehicles into the territory of the transport hub), and additional traffic lights will be installed near these stations.
