Ruslan said that a meeting had just completed in the Basmanny court to consider the petition of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the election of a Kovyazin preventive measure in the form of detention. And that the judge Irina Skurikhina (O Miracle!) Did not immediately satisfy this petition, but transferred her decision the next day - to wait until the lawyer provides materials that could influence the election of another preventive measure, for example, subscriptions about the not to leave or house arrest.

Materials - a certificate that Kovyazin (at the end of September will be 26 years old) is a freelance correspondent of the Vyatka Observer and that, on the instructions of the editorial office, he conducted the video of the Million Millions in Moscow, as well as the official characterization and characteristics of Leonid's neighbors in the village of Kostino, where he lives with his grandmother - it was necessary to deliver to the court no later 14.00 the next day, the moment of the beginning of a second meeting at the request of the IC of the Russian Federation.

The mission was almost impossible, but, fortunately, when I called Kirov to her married Yulia Shevtsova, she said that together with Denis Shadrin from the Kirov Voice, she was just heading to Kostino in order to find out the details of the search and detention of L. Kovyazin on the morning of May 5. The neighbors did not have to persuade the neighbors: they all value and love Leonid, a “very positive, nonsense of a young man”, who, if asked, can go for bread or medicines without unnecessary conversations. And also cares for a lonely 78-year-old grandmother. Making editorial papers was already a matter of equipment, which was forced to work closer to midnight.

The documents necessary for saving Leonid undertook to deliver his brother Vasily to Moscow. And since the train was no longer in time, it was decided to send him a morning aircraft.

In general, in half of the second, Vasily and I were already near the entrance to the Basmanny Court on Kalanchovskaya. Ruslan Chanidze said upset that for unknown reasons there was a replacement of the judge: instead of showing excessive, when considering custom -made "political" cases, the softness and liberalism of Irina Skurikhina was appointed (herself) the chairman of the court Olga Solopova. And therefore, there is little hope for a positive outcome of today's meeting.

After the bailiffs brought Leonid into a cage, a dozen -dozen journalists from the capital's media, Kovyazin Vasily and also what happened on this day in Moscow, Kirovskan Maria Boteva, who collaborates with the theater on Spasskaya (Leonid participates in the theater labitor of Boris Pavlovich, who called the theater, calling the theater, calling the theater, who called the theater, who called the theater, called Kovyazin. your student).

At first, investigator of the SC SK Mikhail Ermilov said that Kovyazin was charged under part 2 of Art. 212 of the Criminal Code ("Participation in the riots"). On September 6, four months after the events of May 6, the signs of Kovyazin, as one of the participants in the construction of the barricade from the toilets, was described in detail by the operative of the Yakimanka police department Pankin. On the same day, he recognized Leonid, who was along with two other participants in the investigative experiment.

In support of the petition for the imprisonment of Kovyazin, Mikhail Vladimirovich brought several arguments at once. And the most important thing is that Article 212 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, according to which Kovinizin is attracted (part 2 - participation in the riots) is "heavy", from which it almost automatically follows that during the investigation Leonid should be in jail. He does not have registration at the place of the investigation (thus, the lack of Moscow registration became an aggravating circumstance.-SB), is not married, does not work anywhere (contradicting himself, Ermilov introduced the court of specialist doctors to work as a monitor of the scene in the theater in Spasskaya-Leonid just before the employment).

In addition, the case, refusing to testify on the basis of Article 51 of the Constitution, maliciously tries to hide the circumstances of his crime. After committing a crime, he took up the destruction of material evidence: during a search at his place of residence, a backpack was not discovered, which, according to the photo and video frames exposing the Kovyazin, was behind him when he turned the toilet, and only the hood remained from a gray jacket that was herself (it was probably not able to destroy it).

On the video frames with Bolotnaya, it is clear that Kovyazin and several more people communicate with each other, Ermilov drew the attention of. Consequently, they are familiar, and the liberation of the Kirov resident from custody will make it difficult to establish the individuals of the other participants in the crime. From the scene of the crime, Kovyazin disappeared (he ran away from the riot police. - SB), and it is possible that in the same way, released under the subscription of the loss, he will try to hide from the investigation. And he will continue his criminal activity (obviously, in the form of turning the toilets. - SB).

Olga Solopova, the main top of the Basmann Justice, was especially interested in the name of one of the video shows presented by the investigation - "demonstrators turned a duma with a person." I found the news that served as the basis for this heading on one of the "fake" Internet resources, after the trial. She tells that during the May protests "a guideline was turned over. At the time of the incident, there was a man in it. The victim refused to hospitalize and was sent home with bruises." However, it says that this (nothing and no one has confirmed an event) happened on the next day after the "Million Marsh", that is, May 7.

But Olga Solopova was not up to studying the evidence, and instead of resolving the issue of the measure of suppression, she suddenly moved to the consideration of the barely starting business, in fact, suspecting Kovyazin in applying the injuries: "People there were in the toilets, you were convinced? And imagine, there are women, old people, patients? How did you ask there? The judge asked sternly. Leonid replied that there could be no people in the toilets, since they "hung around" on the outside: "It is difficult to close a person from the inside and hang a lock from the outside."

Answering the judge’s question, Kovyazin said that he took part in the construction of the barricades from the toilets when he saw that "the police are hiding people," and therefore decided to "protect people from riot police."

- And how did you protect?

- At least for 15 minutes after that, the police did not touch people ...

In fact, in the theater of the absurd, our Lenya behaved most adequately. He was still at the first meeting to the question of Skurikhina about the petitions, asked to give him a pen and paper and then began to draw the participants in the process, not paying attention to what was happening (when on September 5, investigators invited him to state claims in the detention protocol, Kovyazin wrote what a person who found himself in a similar situation feels much pleasure ”). And he explained his refusal to give testimony that in Kirov he was imposed “lawyer for its intended purpose”, which he did not trust (meanwhile, I recall, the Moscow investigator D. Gorelov did not allow a lawyer from “Rosuznik” to the interrogation of Kovyazin, motivating his refusal by the fact that Leonid was quite satisfied with the work of the lawyer granted to him).

Ruslan Chanidze, justifying the possibility of Leonid’s liberation from custody, pushed his client’s personal qualities: "This is not some kind of inveterate criminal, but an ordinary person." If he made a mistake, this does not mean that it is necessary to break his fate. And he said that the conclusion of Kovyazin would leave his grandmother without leaving. But the judge remained adamant, determining the builder of the barricades in the pre -trial detention center until November 5 - on this day the investigation in the "Swamp case", initiated on May 6, expires.

The investigation in relation to the seized 17 participants in this case is at different stages. They will be judged separately. The first courts will begin in September. It is possible that the term of the investigation in the case of Kovyazin will be extended.

After the trial, Vasily Kovyazin and I went to Petrovka, 38 (Leonid was in the temporary detention center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow after the arrest) to transfer the things necessary for the prisoner. But it turned out that in the IVS Kovyazin no longer - from Kalanchevskaya he was immediately taken to one of the Moscow pre -trial detention center. In which, it will become known only on Monday.

Let me remind you: Leonid Kovyazin studied the 4th year at the Faculty of Philosophy and Cultural Studies of VyatGSU, worked as a labor teacher and a loader. Recently, I have been a “free artist”, earning a living video filming of weddings and a name day, as well as making videos on the instructions of the Vyatka Observer.

On August 5, he was detained in Kirov on suspicion of participating in the riots in Bolotnaya Square by a team of investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, headed by Dmitry Gorelov, who conducted a search at his place of residence and inspection in the editorial office of the "observer".

Leonid was not a member of a single political organization, sympathetically referring to the protest movement, conducted a video of his shares in Kirov, and shot violations in the March elections.

In March 2012, he first got into the Avtosak, when a “action in the fountain” performed by the group of Sergei Udaltsov on Pushkinskaya Square, but was soon released. In May, Kovyazin was in Moscow as a spectator of the Golden Mask theater festival and involuntarily became a witness and a participant in the events associated with the inauguration of Vladimir Putin. On the instructions of the editorial office of the Vyatka Observer, I rented protests on May 5-7. He was delayed twice riot police - in the first hours of Occupyabay and, while trying to organize the whitefooters, to organize a camp near the monument to the heroes of Plevna. But he was released after the presentation of a journalistic certificate.

The information that, "hiding from justice," Leonid left for the Crimea was not confirmed: Vasily said that his younger brother did not leave Kirov’s limits this summer.
