Putin strained the Japanese: 500 volunteers of the APEC summit are sent to Japan. Urgently

Russian President Vladimir Putin personally thanked the volunteers for working at the APEC summit and said that about 500 of them would be encouraged by a sea trip to Japan. The president’s request was pretty strained by the Japanese leadership.

“I would like everyone, but everyone will simply not work out for technical reasons. But several hundred people, we asked for up to 500 - we will offer you to take a sea walk to Jokogama. This trip, in my opinion, lasts a couple of days,” RIA Novosti quoted Putin. He said that as part of the tour, a move to Tokyo was planned, and from there the plane will fly to Vladivostok and Moscow.

According to him, the problem, of course, is that everyone needs to quickly make Japanese visas.

According to the Russian leader, there should not be any questions with visas to Japan; he personally discussed this issue in bilateral negotiations with Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda. “He said that we would do everything, but asked when they come. I say - the day after tomorrow. He was dumbfounded ... They work actively, stamps these visas,” Putin said.

“I specifically asked that some of the volunteers who worked at the summit gathered here. Only part, because only 2.5 thousand people ... All our guests have noted the high quality of your work. You created a favorable business atmosphere and helped me a lot, all my colleagues in holding this largest international event,” Putin praised.
