A criminal case against a 40-year-old resident of the Pallasovsky district of the Volgograd region, accused of a series of sexual crimes against children, has been sent to court, the regional investigative department reported on Monday.
According to the materials of the criminal case, a man, previously convicted of theft, is accused of committing six episodes of crimes under Part 2 of Article 134 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (sexual intercourse with a person under 14 years of age) and 246 episodes of crimes under Part 2 .1,2,3 art. 135 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (depraved acts).
“The investigation established 252 episodes of criminal activity. The indictment against him amounted to 10 volumes of the criminal case,” the report notes.
According to the investigation, since 2010, the accused has repeatedly committed indecent acts against minor boys aged 13-15 in the territory of the Gorodishchensky district and the city of Kamyshin, Volgograd region, as well as the Krasnooktyabrsky district of Volgograd. The investigation found that the pedophile also had sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl. In total, eight children were recognized as victims, including seven boys and one girl.
“As a reward, he offered the teenagers cash in the amount of 100 to 200 rubles, or the opportunity to play computer games or ride a car,” the press release says.
The criminal recorded sexual contacts with teenagers on a web camera. During a search conducted at his place of residence, the investigative authorities seized DVDs, as well as the computer where the said video was stored, the department notes.
