The Interagrosystems company commissioned the first stage of a new production complex in Belorechensk - a logistics center with a storage capacity of 11 million liters of products worth 260 million rubles. Next year, the investor will approve a business plan for the construction of production facilities that will increase production to 250 million liters of juice per year, which is twice the figure for 2011, the amount of investment is 1 billion rubles. According to experts, the positions of the key players in the Russian market will not change with the introduction of new IAS capacities - the dominant position is occupied by transnational companies.

Last weekend in Belorechensk, the first stage of a new industrial complex was launched - a finished products warehouse with an area of 7.2 thousand square meters. m, with a simultaneous storage volume of 11 million liters, the Interagrosystems (IAS) company reported. Investments in construction amounted to 260 million rubles. “The logistics center is the most necessary thing at the moment,” the company’s executive director Dmitry Shubin told Kommersant. Deputy head of the Belorechensky district for agro-industrial complex issues Alexander Yatsenko explained to Kommersant that the old IAS production is located within the city limits and does not have convenient access roads, which did not allow increasing traffic flows.

In the future, a plant will appear on the new territory; a decision on the timing of construction will be made in 2013. The amount of investment in the second phase will be 1 billion rubles, the design production capacity will be 250 million liters of juice and 40 million liters of kvass and soft drinks per year. “Currently, 90% of products are sold in the European part of Russia, and only 10% is the total volume of exports and sales to such regions as the Urals, Siberia, and the Far East. An increase in production volumes will allow us to expand the geography of sales,” the company’s press service explained to Kommersant.

Interagrosistemy LLC was registered in 1996 as a Russian-German joint venture based on the Belorechensk food processing plant. Produces 150 types of juices and nectars. TM - “Viko”, “Juicy Valley”, “Gifts of Kuban” and “Ladushki”. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, the co-owners of the company are Sergei Zhukov and Sergei Triandofilov. The company's revenue in 2010 was 3.1 billion rubles, net profit was 156.7 million rubles. Product production volume is 132 million liters of juices and nectars per year.

In its 2011 review, the analytical publication Russian Food & Drinks Market Magazine (St. Petersburg) ranks IAS in second place among independent Russian juice producers. These also include OJSC "Unimilk" (Moscow region, TM "Tema"), LLC "Leader" (Moscow region, TM Swell, "Master Fruit", "Margarita") and LLC "DigiDon" (Kurgan, TM Weekend, " Yablochkin"), which together occupy about 9.6% of the Russian market. Another 7% of the market belongs to OJSC “Gardens of Pridonya” (Volgograd region, TM “Zolotaya Rus”, “Moi”, “Gardens of Pridonya”). The rest of the market is controlled by the transnational companies Coca-Cola (OJSC Nidan Juices, Moscow region, TM Caprice, Da!, My Family, Sokos) and PepsiCo (JSC Lebedyansky, Lipetsk region, TM Dolka ", "Ya", "Hello", "Tonus", "Fruit Garden", as well as OJSC "Wimm-Bill-Dann Food Products", TM J-7, "Favorite Garden", "Miracle Berry"). Among the main prospects for market development, Russian Food & Drinks analysts note the concentration and movement of market potential from Russian megacities to regions where the culture of juice consumption is just beginning to develop.

According to Finam Management analyst Maxim Klyagin, the IAS project is strategically justified. “Investments can pay off within five to six years,” the expert notes. According to him, the Russian juice market retains significant growth potential - today average per capita consumption is only about 20 liters; in developed countries this figure is on average two to three times higher.

Maxim Klyagin believes that the positions of key market players will not change radically with the commissioning of new facilities in Belorechensk: “It is worth taking into account the high level of consolidation and strong competition in this sector. At the same time, against the backdrop of a significant expansion of production capacity, subject to additional investments in marketing and distribution, I believe that the company’s sales can increase significantly, which will have a positive impact on its market share,” says Kommersant’s interlocutor.
