The ancient Chinese, to whom to refer to wisdom is almost a rule of good tone, was perhaps the most terrible curse was considered a wish "to live in an era of change." Modern Americans, who do not like to refer to (even Korean manufacturers of "alternative" tablet computers), nevertheless, gave birth to a no less reinforced concrete concrete, the argument "do not repair what works."
The situation in domestic education of any level has long set out the goal of refuting the common truths. Our education has long been living in the era of endless changes and, it seems, is not going to leave it. It would seem that everything that worked, so it was time to go to the next spiral. And who knows, because they “repaired” in a nashen, creatively, the new entry (by repairing the repaired) may be useful.
We get the number (as is usually the case in early September) with an educational slope. The two largest materials are directly related to this most important topic. And almost the main, albeit implicitly expressed, the hero of the newspaper was the new Minister of Education and Science Dmitry Livanov. The first actions in the responsible post are inspired by ... No, in a word you can’t say. Optimism here is too wary: young reformers are sometimes worse than ossified retrograde. If there is fears, then that our bureaucratic system is able to grind any good intentions. There is definitely no indifference-after all, it was a matter of primary importance, and somehow a chance appeared unexpectedly.
Perhaps there is no disappointment. But not in connection with the actions of the new minister (it would be strange to wait so soon), but rather from intentions and the chosen style of behavior. So far, the new leadership of the ministry demonstrates openness, the ability to listen to even opponents, readiness for collegial decisions, the ability to recognize shortcomings. It is rare when there is something to praise the current government, but here. Livanov’s candidacy in this post, albeit non -bordering, is not at least unnatural.
It remains only to wait for the Minister of Real Affairs. And it is very desirable - in the direction of the right direction for society.
