Next year promises to be rich in new products: not only updated versions of already beloved models will appear in car dealerships, but also completely new cars

It is believed that the best time to buy a new car is winter. Between December and March, car dealers hold total sales, where you can buy a car at a discount. True, the new car will be from last year’s model range.

This doesn’t bother some people at all, while others, on the contrary, are waiting for the beginning of the calendar year, when long-awaited new items appear in showrooms. The future, 2013, promises to be rich in them: the automakers themselves are primarily interested in this. On September 10, the Committee of Automobile Manufacturers of the Association of European Businesses published a press release in which the expected growth of the Russian automobile market in January-August 2012 was estimated at 14%. And in 2013, according to experts, sales will only continue to increase.

Next year, Russian car showrooms will be replenished with both updated versions of models already loved by Russians, as well as absolute new products. Moreover, replenishment can be expected everywhere: in the class of compact subcompact cars, crossovers and SUVs, budget and not so sedans, and even hybrid cars, which are increasingly entering the Russian market. True, for now, domestically produced models are leading the list of the most popular cars among Russians. For eight months of 2012, the Lada Kalina became the best-selling car in Russia. And by mid-2013, an updated version of AvtoVAZ’s flagship, the Lada Kalina II, will appear in dealer showrooms. Also included in the Top 25 best-selling car brands in Russia are Chevrolet, Volkswagen, Nissan, Ford, Opel, Suzuki and Honda, each of which will start selling new car models next year. The first new products of 2013 will begin to appear in dealer showrooms in a couple of months.
