Lace love for Chelyabinsk

Maria Zhukova will record the song “I Love this City” dedicated to Chelyabinsk, along with the Ariel group.

Meanwhile, few people know that the author and performer of songs Maria Zhukova professionally is not related to music (only a music school in the piano class in the baggage). For 17 years now he has been working in the Palace of Children's Creativity of the Sovetsky District as a psychologist. Songs began to write about 9 years ago. Moreover, it is so successful that annually it becomes a laureate of competitions of all kinds of levels: from urban to international.

In the last anniversary for Chelyabinsk, the year with the song “I love this city” (the words and music of Maria Zhukova) participated in two competitions and twice ascended to the pedestal: “The folk anthem of the city of Chelyabinsk” (organized 74.ru)-1st place and “Songs of our city” (organized by the information and analytical center of the Chelyabinsk administration)-2nd place. Since last year, the song “I Love this City” often sounds on the Continental radio.

This year, specially for the birthday of the city, Maria, with the help of CHGTRK specialists Andrei Anisimov and Eduard Yakupova, came up with a music video with the song “I love this city”. The sketch was shown in the television program "Province". At the X City Open Film Festival of Amateur Cinema "City in the frame" took second place in the nomination "Guide of My Chelyabinsk". He was asked to show on the theater Square on September 8. And the song sounded at many stage venues during the festive week of honoring Chelyabinsk: in Pushkin Park at a concert dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Sovetsky District, on the summer stage of the Gagarin Park, near the General Post Office in Kirovka, in the concert of the city stage of the City Singing Courts of the competition, where Zhukova took second place. In addition to the compositions dedicated to Chelyabinsk, Maria performed funny perky songs that loved the audience: “Look at the stars” of her own composition and “Wind in the field” - a new composition written in the words of the Chelyabinsk poet Sergei Semyannikov.

She never dwells on what has been achieved. Ahead of new projects.

- The Ariel group really liked my song "I love this city." We want to fulfill it together, ”Masha shares plans. - I think you get an interesting creative product - another gift to Chelyabinsk. The clip for my song “Meeting of Odnoklassniki” is being prepared for completion. And there is still a studio recording of new compositions. I am looking for sponsors, I want to make an author's disk called "Lace Love."

On March 7, the final of the city contest “Her Majesty Woman” was held at the Chelyabinsk Drama Theater, where Masha Zhukova won the “Gift of God” nomination. Many of those who at least once listened to her songs will agree: the jury very accurately picked up the nomination for this original performer.
