In the new international terminal of Vladivostok, the English version of the announcement of actions upon receipt of the migration card invites foreigners to sing after issuing a uniform, Interfax reports.
"Attention! Migration Card Issues Automatically. Please Sing When You Receive It," says an ad glued to tape on the passport control window. Translated into Russian, the announcement means: "Attention! The migration card is issued automatically. Please sing after it."
A photograph with a curious announcement appeared on the social networks of Vladivostok. Bloggers suggest that in the English version there was a typo - instead of the word "sing" (sing) there must be "sign" (sign).
The press service of the border department of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the Primorsky Territory recognized that, indeed, there was a typo. "Now we will contact the passport control at the border point at the airport, and the error in the announcement will be corrected," said the representative of the border administration.
The new building of the Vladivostok International Airport was built as part of the training of the city for the APES-2012 summit, which took place from September 2 to 9. According to Primorsky border guards, border control units ensured an uninterrupted and timely pass of participants, guests and officials across the state border.
"During this period, 20 chapters of states, representatives of 20 ministries of trade and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of foreign states, about 1,500 participants in the international forum and over 300 representatives of foreign media were crossed," the official release of the Border FSB of Primorye said.
