Today, September 14, militant dugouts were discovered in two regions of Dagestan.
In a forest area near the village of Tukhgar, Novolaksky district, a cache was discovered, which, according to operational data, belonged to a three-year-old member of an illegal armed group, Taga Nurulaev.
Today, not far from the village of Novosasitli, already in the Khasavyurt district, 2 benches with food products, 5 dug unequipped pits for dugouts, each measuring 4x3 meters, were discovered.
The dugouts belonged to a bandit group led by three-year-old Daniyal Zargalov (nickname “Seifulla”).
And yesterday, September 13, in a forest belt on the outskirts of the village named after Shaumyan, Kizlyar district, during a special operation to neutralize militants, thirty-two-year-old Oki Nazhmudinov and twenty-three-year-old Alishab Magomedov were killed. They were members of illegal armed groups.
The thesis that Dagestan is a terrorist enclave on the territory of the Russian Federation is beyond doubt among most experts.
But an equally dangerous trend is emerging. Dagestan is also becoming an exclusively anti-terrorist enclave. To put it very crudely... it can be argued that in Dagestan they know how to commit terrorist acts and destroy terrorists no less effectively! Judging by reports from news agencies and press publications in Dagestan, this is all they can do.
Does this solve the problem of terrorism? Partly! Only partly.
Why?!
Yes, because we are fighting the investigation. If tomorrow we destroy a hundred caches belonging to the Zargalovs and Nurulaevs, will the problem of terrorism be solved? No!
And if tomorrow we destroy two hundred Nazhmudinovs and Magomedovs, will the problem of terrorism be solved? No!
Then we need to carefully study the social basis of modern terrorism in Dagestan. Reveal the mechanisms of recruitment into illegal armed groups and sabotage and terrorist groups.
How?
Let's see what terrorist experts say about the concept of the social basis of terrorism:...
“Individuals, groups, layers, and sometimes entire nations, who sympathize with the declared goals of the leaders of terrorism, and most often deceived by them, are motivated by the real contradictions and injustices that they encounter in their lives and activities. For terrorists, they constitute the very social the basis on which the latter rely..." (Terrorism in the modern world. M. Nauka. 2011.P.4.).
So why can't we defeat terrorism in Dagestan? Because we do not work with its (terrorism’s) social base!
Today, terrorists, through their information channels, disseminated information that the “jamaat of the southern sector of Dagestan” is threatening the director of the Derbent orphanage, Alla Musaeva, with a Sharia court for the alleged facts of selling orphans.
This message confirms the destructive trend taking place in Dagestan. Terrorists are trying to occupy an important niche in the social system of Dagestan society. They are entrenched in the field of defenders of the social rights of disadvantaged and humiliated Muslims. Thus, they expand their social base through deception and manipulation!
