The Ministry of Emergencies of the Novgorod region clarified that the teenagers took part in the tourist rally and did not leave the route at the long time.

"The forces and funds of the Ministry of Emergencies of the Leningrad and Novgorod regions were promptly sent to the search area. The police and executive authorities were involved in the search," the report said.
