Our faith in miracles is ineradicable. For some reason, we think that three marches and nine rallies of many thousands are enough to defeat the swindlers and thieves who control hundreds of billions of dollars, the intelligence services, television and the army. No one can seriously believe that the Duma, together with its owner Putin, will resign after the disgrace with Gudkov. Nevertheless, the ineradicable desire for everything to be quick, easy and joyful weighs heavily not only on those who have stocked up on popcorn, but also on quite active people. How much longer do we have to walk? Why are there so few people? Who leaked the protest? When will all this end? Where is the revolution? We hear all these questions in an endless stream every day and hourly.
The most malicious and at the same time indifferent joyfully report that the protest has turned sour, and joyfully quote police data that 14 thousand people took part in yesterday’s march. The photographs below do not need any comments.

If you did not participate in the event, but want to find out how many people came, turn on the zombie box, listen to the official data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and multiply by 3-4. You can't go wrong. So, on September 15, from 42 to 56 thousand people took part in the march, which, on the one hand, is, of course, a lot, but on the other, it means that the number of protests is not growing. And although we managed, firstly, to maintain the unity of the opposition forces, and secondly, for the first time in the history of our protest, to accept demands of a socio-economic nature (freezing housing and communal services tariffs, a sharp increase in spending on education, healthcare, science, protecting the pension system and the right to strike), nevertheless, there was no increase in the number of protest participants.
What's the conclusion? Some say that we need to end with protest; this form of civil action has outlived its usefulness. Others say it is necessary to disengage, since the united opposition has no prospects. Still others suggest focusing on regional and local elections. And the overwhelming majority believe that nothing can be changed and sit at home. I am convinced that to win, firstly, you need to stock up on patience, will and stubbornness and, gritting your teeth, continue to work, and work in all directions. I am convinced that if our educational activities, including the report “The Life of a Galley Slave,” were available to the workers of Uralvagonzavod and village workers, and the Good Machine of Truth reached Gus-Khrustalny and the city of Semenov in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the number of participants in all-Russian actions would increase significantly. So educational activities are one of the most important and key areas of our work.
Elections. There are no illusions here. Power cannot change in the elections named after Putin-Churov. For these are complete manipulations, falsifications and imitations. However, this does not mean that we should not participate. Must. Firstly, in order to explain our program and position. Secondly, because the presence of our comrades in government makes it easier to achieve our goals in a peaceful and bloodless way.
Solidarity with the repressed and political prisoners is, of course, absolutely necessary.
Now about the goal. The power in the country will change and fair elections will be held when we manage to bring from 500 thousand to a million people to the “March of Millions”. Then, on Sakharov Avenue, we will be surprised to discover that the police are with the people, that many Putin supporters and officials, including high-ranking officials, are asking to speak on the podium to expose the criminal regime. And Putin is left alone with the Ozero cooperative and his faithful friend Ramzan Kadyrov.
How much time it will take to realize this goal depends only on us. We will whine, sit in kitchens and scold each other - this time will never come. We will act and solve the problem before 2018, Putin’s next term. The main thing is not to succumb to provocations under the influence of emotions and to keep the protest peaceful and widespread.
