Singer Robbie Williams became a father for the first time. His wife, actress Ayda Field, gave birth to a daughter. The happy parents named the newborn girl Theodora Rose Williams, but at home everyone calls the baby Teddy. Teddy was born at 15.33 (18.33 Moscow time) on Tuesday and weighed 3 kg 300 g at birth. Robbie remained on duty at his wife's bedside while she gave birth at the private Portland Hospital in London. Williams was worried last week that he might not make it to hospital in time for his UK tour. Therefore, in order not to miss an important event, the singer ordered that his private jet would always be ready if he had to fly to London urgently.

As soon as the ex-star of the boy band Take That announced the good news, his page on the social network Twitter began to quickly fill up with congratulations. The band's current singer Gary Barlow wrote: "Huge congratulations to Robbie and Ida. I'm so happy for you."

The singer said that he wants to raise his daughter in England, and not in Los Angeles, where the couple now live. His desire is dictated by the low, in his opinion, level of education in the United States. “I also want the baby to have an English passport,” Williams added.
