A friend of Rasul Mirzaev filed a lawsuit against the father of Ivan Agafonov

Lawyers for sambo wrestler Rasul Mirzaev filed a lawsuit against the father of Ivan Agafonov, who died after a clash with the athlete, to protect the honor and dignity of one of Mirzaev’s defense witnesses, Alla Kosogorova, who was named the defendant’s girlfriend during the trial, Interfax reports.

“The lawsuit states that on July 27, in the Zamoskvoretsky District Court of Moscow, during a court hearing during the interrogation of Kosogorova as a witness, Agafonov in the presence of the court, other participants in criminal proceedings, as well as in the presence of media representatives, Agafonov insulted Kosogorova by publicly negatively assessing her personality,” - says a press release from the law office, whose employees represent the interests of Kosogorova and defend Mirzaev in court.

Kosogorova asks the court to recognize Agafonov’s words as untrue and to recover from him compensation for moral damage in the amount of one ruble, as well as the cost of paying the state duty.
