Airbus-320 forced to land at Khabarovsk airport after a bird hit the engine

At the Khabarovsk airport, after a bird hit the engine, an Airbus-320 plane flying from Vladivostok to Moscow made an emergency landing, a source in the air traffic control services of the local air hub told Interfax.

“The plane made an emergency landing at Khabarovsk airport at 10.01 Moscow time. According to preliminary data, a bird hit the plane’s engine blades during takeoff,” the source said.

Before landing, the plane circled over the airport for some time, running out of fuel.
