Kia Cerato is officially presented

After numerous sketches and spy pictures, Kia finally officially introduced the crato sedan to the public. The presentation took place in South Korea, reports Autonews.ru .

The car received a new branded grille of the radiator, enlarged fog headlights and aggressive body lines. In the image of the car, the family features of Kia, created by Peter Schreyer, are easily guessed. In general, we can say that the car began to look even more rapidly and sports.

Kia Cerato has become wider, longer and lower relative to its predecessor. So, in length the car added 30 mm (4560 mm), in a width of 5 mm (1780), and the height decreased by 25 mm (1435 mm).

As for the line of the engines, so far KIA limited itself only to the data about the engine for the South Korean market.

There the car will go on sale with a gasoline unit with a volume of 1.6 liters and a capacity of 140 horsepower. The fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is about 7.1 liters per 100 kilometers.

As previously known, a modification with a 1.6-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 126 horsepower will be presented on the European market. However, this power unit is unlikely to reach Russia.

The world premiere of the model will be held at the International Motor Show in Los Angeles in November this year. On sale, the car will appear closer to 2013. It is still unknown how soon a new generation KIA Cerato KIA Cerato will enter the market.

The sedan should go on sale in the interior of official dealers in the second half of next year.
