Two years in the face

The banker, the publisher of Novaya Gazeta, Alexander Lebedev, was charged under Part 1 of Art. 213 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism, gross violation of public order based on political hatred) and Art. 116 (beatings). The maximum punishment that the businessman can wait for is imprisonment for a period of two years. The Investigative Committee tried to take the recognizance not to leave Alexander Lebedev, referring to the fact that he could leave the country, but the owner of the Novaya Gazeta refused to sign it, saying that he was not going to hide and actively collaborated with the investigation that the investigation was conducted.
