About the candidate:

Oleg Mitvol is no stranger to politics and city property management. In 2004, the businessman and owner of the Novye Izvestia publishing house became deputy head of Rosprirodnadzor and immediately began to fight his own colleagues, whom he accused of corruption. He became famous as a fighter against VIP dachas in environmental zones, tried to close the Baikal Pulp and Paper Mill, criticized the work of large companies, and supported the defenders of the Khimki forest. Mitvol's vigorous activity raised questions among the head of the department, and in the fall of 2008 Mitvol was fired. The official reason is staff reduction. The ex-official tried to challenge his dismissal. In court, it turned out that he was still an employee of the department, however, in April 2009, Mitovl resigned himself. At the same time, Yabloko invited him to join the ranks of its leadership. Mitvol began to receive proposals from other parties. Never getting into Yabloko (the party did not want to reform according to Mitvol’s plan), he created the environmental movement “Green Alternative”. In the summer of 2009, Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov appointed Mitvol prefect of the Northern Administrative District. Residents remember him for removing the sign from the Anti-Soviet kebab shop, accusing the Communist Party of the Russian Federation of running a gay club in the building of the Society of the Blind, and closing more than half of the tobacco and beer kiosks in the district (Luzhkov then issued a warning to the prefect). In September 2010, Mitvol quarreled with the Nashi movement, taking away the premises that they used for headquarters. “Ours” carried out several counter-actions against Mitvol, and a few days later the acting. Mayor Vladimir Resin fired the prefect. During the 2009 Khimki campaign, Oleg Mitvol supported the leader of the Movement in Defense of the Khimki Forest, Evgenia Chirikova. Opponents accused Chirikova and Mitvol that the latter allegedly illegally, bypassing the candidate’s official account, transferred a large sum of money to Chirikova for running the campaign. This time he decided to participate in the elections directly and was nominated by his own environmental party, the Green Alliance, which was registered in March 2012.

About Khimki, its problems and what the city needs:

“It is necessary to restore order in Khimki. The fact is that the last 10 years have driven Khimki into an extremely difficult situation. The housing and communal services problem: under the previous mayor, city municipal enterprises suddenly unexpectedly became the property of private companies that are related to the ex-mayor’s ex-wife, namely - to her brother Raikin. After this, prices rose, quality fell, and Khimki residents pay 30% more than in Moscow, but, in theory, they should pay less. Secondly, there is no approved General Plan, something happens at night. new high-rise buildings, multi-story buildings are appearing, all of this on the site of playgrounds, green areas, future clinics, and all this is being built without any social burden - no one is building clinics, schools, or kindergartens. Moreover, for some reason, a huge number of kindergartens. it is rented from commercial organizations and administrative structures. Problems with migrants. The whole city, all the basements are filled with immigrants from Tajikistan and Uzbekistan who work on construction sites. People can no longer walk in the evenings. The police have not yet responded to this. Third is the transport problem. There are defrauded investors out there. There are a lot of problems in Khimki."

About Khimki Forest:

“I believe that the worst possible option was chosen. I was against it. At first they wanted to make a clearing 1 kilometer wide, but in Rospotrebnadzor we achieved a reduction of 60 meters. Unfortunately, the forest cannot be returned, but we need to ensure that the commercial operation of this road was in the interests of the city. That is, part of the funds should go to the city budget."

About the Governor of the Moscow Region Sergei Shoigu:

“It seems to me that he will work better than Gromov. There is no doubt about that. In recent years, Gromov has made a lot of mistakes - this was the reason for his removal. About Oleg Shakhov: “My competitors are Evgenia Chirikova and Oleg Shakhov. Regarding Shakhov, of course, I have questions - how did he manage to change 23 jobs and 11 diplomas in 12 years. I believe that this clearly does not indicate his managerial experience. In addition, questions arose to him as the designer of Putin’s eternally lying road in Vladivostok. He was the director... And for some reason, no one is actually responsible for this road, into which state billions have sunk. Such a trail... I’m not sure. that this is good for the future mayor."

About Evgenia Chirikova: “When Vladimir Strelchenko was mayor, we helped her during the last election campaign. She has changed a lot since 2009. I think that she has no experience in managing the city, and in general municipal management is a specialty that has been taught for several years. And study on 200 thousand people - I’m not sure that’s right. Although she says many things correctly, the mantra “Resource parasites” is unlikely to help in preparing for winter.”

About Igor Belousov: “I don’t consider him as my competitor. Mikhail Dmitrievich Prokhorov, while in Ibiza, supported Belousov. Apparently, the disco has gone... I don’t really understand why he supported him. But that’s his business, he can I can only envy him, it’s the season there.”

He is the author of the collection of signatures for the nomination of a horse in the elections in Kaliningrad. And he produced the porn star Berkova in the elections against Nemtsov in Sochi.”

About the other candidates: “All the technical candidates, apparently, were registered just to remove me. They are not trying to remove any of the other candidates from the elections with such persistence. Chirikova did not file a lawsuit to remove Shakhov! And two lawsuits have already been filed against me in court about the removal - from the communist Vinogradov and the candidate Babak."
