The British violinist virtuois Nigel Kennedy spoke with the only concert on the stage of the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, and although the organizers "warned" about the eccentricity of the musician, he "fucked up" quite a bit.

Nigel Kennedy came to Moscow with his quartet consisting of Polish musicians of the jazz scene. Having gone on stage, Kennedy greeted the audience in Russian: "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen." In the first branch, the musicians performed the sonata for the Solo N2 rogue N2 Minor BWV 1003 Bach, and the second compartment was dedicated to the works of the American jazzman Fats Waller in the arrangement of Kennedy.

The holder of the ancient violin Giuseppe Guvarneri, created in 1736, Kennedy is known for his love for an informal style in execution and clothing. Nevertheless, the Moscow audience is very shocking the musician, also known for the fact that from time to time paints his face in the colors of his favorite football club and even launches football balls into the auditorium, did not and only “fucked up” a little.

The first department, to match Bach's baroque music, Kennedy played in a shirt and a vest, remotely reminiscent of the outfits of the Galannaya Age cavaliers. In the second, jazz, part of the concert, the musicians appeared in the T -shirts of the musician’s favorite club - Aston Villa (red -blue stripes), on the back of Nigel himself, who replaced the Warneri instrument, the number 11 flaunted.

During the concert, Kennedy managed not only to improvise, but also to joke, and to talk with the hall no worse than rock stars, and even flirt from one of the spectators in the front row. The musician finished his performance by the "charm" Vittorio Monty, turning the concert into a comic show and even sparing. And when the audience was ready to reward him with the last applause, Kennedy recalled the Irish origin of his surname, fulfilling the lyrical Irish melody.

Over 25 years, Kennedy disks have repeatedly become “golden” and “platinum”, diverging by millions of circulations, he played twice for members of the royal family in the Buckingham Palace and received many musical awards - from the Brit Awards “for contribution to the development of music” to the “golden rose” on the prestigious jazz festival in Montrevo (Switzeria).
