In 2011, more than three hundred employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were killed - and this is only in execution. People defended the calm life of the rest of the citizens and gave their lives for this. The same police officers whom the rest of the country cannot stand.
And then the employee committed an act that he was weakly mounted with the concepts of honor. So much so that it became unbearable to live. And there are little doubts that it was this person who would give his life instead of a stranger - or together with a stranger, saving people.
The second story is thinner and more interesting - it is about the institute. What is the police? According to the Levada Center, Russians who believe that the police deserves confidence - 18 percent. This is less than that of the courts and a little more than that of trade unions. The reverse point of view (which the police do not deserve confidence at all) adheres to 31 percent. And these indicators have been stable over the past few years:
The reduction and purification of the rows in this sense also gave little. At the same time, the police themselves understand everything well, which is why this leads to tragedies like Buryat. The authorities also understand and try (at least in the person of the new leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs) to restart the reform of the department - because the new working group on reform was created at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It seems that no one understands what to do with the police really. How to return trust if you have already lost it?
