Debates of candidates for the Constitutional Court of the opposition at Dozhd

The Dozhd TV channel began debating candidates for the Opposition Coordination Council. Although, to be honest, it’s quite difficult to call this a debate. Rather, it is more reminiscent of an express survey of election participants. The compressed format leaves a certain imprint. Probably, the performance had to be rehearsed and told like a poem in 30 seconds.

My performance did not please me at all: in fact, I could have done much better. But not about that. After the debate ended, voting began for the candidates they liked best. Given my rather weak performance, the result of 5-6% of votes for my candidacy is more than an optimistic option. In principle, this is what I was counting on. Imagine my surprise when on the Dozhd website on the morning of October 2, next to my last name, I saw a result of 64%.

Naturally, this could not have happened during normal voting. Therefore, I considered this to be some kind of technical error. However, at lunchtime I saw a result of 63% and began to figure it out. It turns out that I “owed” this result to the well-known structure of the three letters M. That’s a disservice. It turns out that the voting system on Dozhd was arranged in some incredible way, in violation of all the laws of mathematics and common sense, or there really are a lot of representatives of the three-letter M structure.

With such a voting system, Mr. Churov is an honest person, and his electoral system is simply the height of democracy and honesty. The debate organizers frankly screwed up the Dozh voting system. I don’t know much about the technical side of voting, but if voting directly to the opposition’s coordination council is structured in the same way, then things are bad.

Today I saw my result at 5%, which of course is more in line with reality than 63%. But a decrease in the result from 63% to 5% could only happen according to some incredible laws of another planet. Of course, this is the first election in this format and there may be mistakes. But such mistakes - ridiculous and discrediting the very idea of ​​elections - must be avoided at all costs.

It’s a pity that the structure of three letters M does not consist of one and a half billion Chinese, then I would become the president of the entire planet Earth. And the world would become completely different.
