The Novosibirsk Regional Court yesterday continued to consider the case of Deputy Mayor Alexander Solodkin and his father, ex-adviser to the governor Alexander Solodkin Sr., accused of participating in an organized criminal community (OCC). The parties questioned businessman Frunzik Khachatryan as the victim, of whom Solodkin Sr. is accused of attempted murder. At the court hearing, the victim noted that in the spring of 1999, Solodkin Sr. invited him to his office, where Anatoly Radchenko and Khasan Ganeev, whom the investigation considers one of the leaders of the organized criminal group, demanded that he pay 200 thousand rubles monthly. for the opportunity to work in the clothing market. Solodkin Sr. also convinced the entrepreneur to pay, but Mr. Khachatryan refused. After this, it is indicated in the case materials, the official proposed to deal with the intractable businessman. In mid-June 1999, killer Dmitry Buol shot Mr. Khachatryan’s Grand Cherokee jeep with a machine gun. The victim reported that he learned much later about Solodkin’s possible involvement in the shooting of his car and therefore communicated with him after the assassination attempt. He noted that “I would be glad if this (the participation of Solodkin Sr. - Kommersant) was not so, since it destroys faith in humanity.”
