
Bazelevs Timur Bekmambetov will be engaged in Russian and international rental of the film by Mikhail Brachinsky “Shoping Tour”, RIA Novosti reports.
"The company will take a rental, including the world. The film will be released in digital format, and it looks excellent on a large movie screen. My dream is to be seen all over the world. Of course, in Russia, I will make every effort for this," Brashinsky told the agency.
According to the director, Timur Bekmambetov became interested in the shopping tour and considered it promising after the tape won the Russian Festival “Window to Europe” with the wording “for humor and genre insolence”.
The film "Shoping Tour" is the second work of Kinoved Bratinsky in full -length cinema. His debut painting "Overflow", shot according to his own scenario, was released in 2002 and participated in the Berlin and Rotterdam film festivals. The script for the "shopping tour" was also written by Brasinsky himself. The budget of the film amounted to only 70 thousand dollars.
The main character of the picture-a 15-year-old boy (Timofei Yeletsky) goes with his mother (Tatyana Kolganova) to a tour from St. Petersburg to Finland. The boy fixes the whole trip to his new mobile phone. Tourists are taken to local hypermarket for purchases. But instead of shopping, the boy and mother are waiting for formidable Finns, which once a year - on Ivanov's day - according to tradition, they should eat at least one foreigner.
