Since March I haven’t watched NTV and haven’t gone to their broadcasts, although I was invited. And I was not at all sad about this. But yesterday the journalists got the better of them - it turns out that Goebbels’s students cooked up a new masterpiece called “Anatomy of a Protest-2.” Everyone demanded some comments from me, so I had to look at the recording of the story on the Internet. Let me briefly summarize.
1. By and large, the Kremlin gentlemen (I have no doubt that the order to create the “masterpiece” came from there) need to say “thank you” for the excellent advertising in prime time. If illegitimate authorities, through the mouths of their propagandists, accuse us of all mortal sins, even planning a conspiracy, then it is not in vain that we live in this world. This means we touch the crooks and thieves to the quick. I even briefly felt like a new Lenin (although, of course, I still have to study, study and study to reach the level of Vladimir Ilyich). By the way, I was riding on the subway in the evening, and several people immediately came up and said that they liked the film and wished me success in the fight. And the mail was simply flooded with letters in support of the revolutionary course of the Left Front. So, as they say, we demand a continuation of the series!
2. Now let's get serious. The fact that the new film was dedicated mainly to my humble person and the Left Front was not at all surprising. Protest has recently moved significantly to the left, the social demands that fill the whole country have firmly entered the agenda of our marches and rallies, which is why the authorities decided to “kill” the left flank of the opposition. For this purpose, the viewer was sent a proven message - they say that it has long been known about liberals that they feed from Western hands, but it turns out that Comrade Udaltsov is the same “traitor to national interests.” They even found a suitable quote from Zyuganov, and also remembered Viktor Ivanovich Anpilov, who recently suddenly fell in love with our president. In general, in this regard, everything is quite predictable and banal.
3. In essence, the plot itself is, of course, the ravings of a madman. I won’t tell you a big secret if I say that the goal of a real opposition organization is the struggle for power. This is normal and natural. Just in case, let me also remind you that the Left Front advocates decisive, but exclusively peaceful methods of political struggle (mass rallies, standing in squares, strikes, etc.) and advocates the formation of government bodies through free elections based on democratic procedures. It is for this reason that we are participating today in the work of a broad protest coalition that was formed in December last year. In order to achieve our goals, I, like any other public figure, have to communicate daily with dozens of people, from whom (even from the most, at first glance, respectable ones) we can sometimes hear a variety of “advices” on how we can “get mail and telegraph".
And since various security agencies are watching me very closely, and we don’t check people’s passports when we meet (probably it’s time), I wouldn’t be surprised if a dozen more similar films appear tomorrow, from which it will follow that I didn’t meet only with the notorious Givi from Georgian intelligence, but also with Abram from Mossad, with John from the CIA, as well as with Peter from the FSB and Vasily from Center “E”, who proposed “blowing up bridges and taking hostages.” But drawing conclusions on the basis of some murky video footage of a person “similar to Udaltsov” about the preparation of terrorist attacks, an uprising in Kaliningrad and almost a world revolution (although about a world revolution sounds, of course, tempting) is, excuse me, kindergarten . However, it couldn’t have been any other way.
I’ll tell you straight: after the initiation of a criminal case on the events of May 6 on Bolotnaya Square, I am in total development - wiretapping, surveillance, searches. My apartment was dug up all over the perimeter in the summer, as was the apartment of my elderly parents. Investigators from the Investigative Committee examined my income under a microscope, but, to their chagrin, they did not find a single illegal ruble, dollar, euro or, dare I say it, Georgian lari. In such a situation of total control, the presence of any facts of financing from Western intelligence services, and even more so, facts of preparation of a “coup d’etat,” would have long ago led to the initiation of high-profile criminal cases against me. But there are no such facts (namely facts, not idle speculation) and could not exist. Therefore, swindlers and thieves had to resort to their favorite “anatomical” methods and concoct a low-grade science fiction film. So, we will have to upset our ultra-radical fellow citizens - there are no plans to storm the Winter Palace yet. And also to reassure the defenders of historical heritage - the bell tower of Ivan the Great is not in danger.
4. Well, and most importantly. The main and sad conclusion that can be drawn after the demonstration of “Anatomy of Protest-2”, helpfully shown on the eve of the pension anniversary of GDP, is that dialogue between the authorities and the opposition is not expected. I assume (and not without reason) that the strategic goal of this broadcast is not just to once again throw mud at the protest movement, but to prepare public opinion for new repressions. Well, what else to do with the “conspirators” - just imprison and put pressure on them! It is not for nothing that United Russia and their younger brothers from the Liberal Democratic Party became so excited and synchronized. For example, Sergei Zheleznyak, vice speaker of the State Duma from United Russia, intends to appeal to law enforcement agencies, namely the Prosecutor General’s Office, the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee.
“I believe that the facts that were reflected in the film require the most thorough investigation, because we are talking about serious criminal offenses. We are talking about the targeted preparation and conduct of terrorist activities on Russian territory with the involvement of organized crime and foreign intelligence services,” Mr. Zheleznyak said in an interview. And here is an excerpt from the statement of “Zhirinovsky’s falcons”: “Urgent measures are needed to prevent the situation from developing according to a scenario favorable to the “revolutionaries”. The infection must be nipped in the bud at the stage of the first sneeze, until the body is engulfed in a deadly virus.” So, as Yegor Letov sang, the new 37th “is flying in the air, standing on the threshold.”
From all of the above I draw a simple conclusion. We all urgently need to step up, get rid of relaxation and remember that our comrades, the prisoners of Bolotnaya, are now under arrest. And that new arrests are coming. After September 15, many oppositionists began to repeat the mantra that “we must look for new forms of protest.” And they blissfully plunged into the cheerful whirlpool of elections to the Opposition Coordination Council. I don’t argue, elections to the Constitutional Court are a good and important thing, I myself participate in them. But we need to understand a simple thing - if the street dies, then this CS will only be suitable for collective masturbation. But this is the best case scenario, and most likely many election participants in the foreseeable future will talk about their program for the development of Russia not to viewers of the Dozhd channel, but to their neighbors in a prison cell.
In this regard, I will once again repeat the simple truth that the best defense is an attack. Therefore, I urge you to begin preparations for the new March of Millions in early December as soon as possible. We must mobilize all our forces, gather in Moscow and end the year on a victorious note, and not in defeatist lamentations. It is also necessary to intensify the struggle for the release of political prisoners, and each new arrest must be met with mass protests at the Investigative Committee. Otherwise, the motto is “One for all, and all for one!” will remain an empty phrase. This is how simple anatomy turns out.
