The total cost of the car that went to an anonymous buyer by phone was 1.5 times higher than a preliminary estimate of 150 thousand pounds. Bidding took place in the presence of 600 VIP guests, the entrance to the charity auction was only at invitation, and many lots presented the stars of the film.
