Kadyrov fired the mayor of Grozny

The mayor of the Chechen capital, Muslim Khuchiev, resigned. Islam Kadyrov, who was previously the Minister of Property and Land Relations of Chechnya, became his successor to the post of head of Grozny.

“The leadership of the republic pays special attention to land issues. A number of serious violations associated with land were also committed by the mayor of the formidable Muslim Khuchiev.
