From October 10 to 15, Perm will be held in the international festival of documentary films Flartica.
At the request of the editorial office of Publicpost, I am writing about what I would personally visit with pleasure.
This year I myself will not be able to attend the festival, which became for me a certain starting point. So, I decided to do documentary cinema after I first hit it in 2009. Now I am studying in the workshop of M. A Razbuzhkina and M. Yu. Ugarova.
Let's start!
The entire festival program can be found on the official website and, of course, it is desirable to see them. For myself, I allocated several:
"Life in the photographs" (director - Tamar Tal)

At the age of 96, Vaissenstein could not imagine Mirimi that she would open a new page of her life. When the house of the photograph, the work of her late husband Rudy, was at risk of demolition, even this stubborn and uncompromising woman realized that she needed help. Against the gloomy background of the family tragedy, Miris and her grandson Ben had a special relationship - they were united by a common cause to save the studio and almost a million negatives that documented the key events of the history of the state of Israel. Despite the conflicts and the difference in generations, Ben and the mirms are taking a joint journey consisting of many funny and touching scenes, a journey, which will require love, courage and compassion.
"Jesus for the day" (director Veronika Castro, Helena Inverno)

The film talks about a group of prisoners who, together with the inhabitants of the village of North -Eastern Portugal, are preparing for the annual Easter ritual - the cross path. The camera captured the whole process: from the first rehearsal to the day of the worship itself - all sacred and surrealistic moments that led to the real and symbolic unity of prisoners and members of the rural community.
"The Cinema" Jennin ". The story of one dream "(director Marcus Wetter)

The film about an ambitious venture is to open an abandoned cinema in the city of Jenin on the western bank of the Jordan River. This is a deep detailed view of the city and on devoted, selfless and often conflicting among themselves who follow their dream.
"PLALIBEK" (directors Anton Kattin, Pavel Kostomarov)

For almost 7 years, director Alexei German made a film on the story of the Strugatsky brothers "It is difficult to be a god." The film tells the story of a man who was sent to another planet, very similar to Earth after the era of the Middle Ages. There he must follow what is happening. The observer also monitors the long -term work of the film crew: a director from Switzerland. For him, another planet is Russia. For him, life on the set of the great Russian director was a mirror of Russian reality.
In parallel, the competition program is the Russian Flasterian . Its peculiarity, in addition to the fact that domestic authors are represented here, is that the audience themselves choose the winners, voting for their favorite films.
With great interest, I would like to watch the film of our Perm director - Elena Seregina "Yana" Bogatyr " .

Once, in a kindergarten, I realized what pants are ... and I was carried. Not on that path: all girls, like girls, but I ... ”A film about the epic heroine of a parallel world, in which lesbian love is not a disease, but becomes an insoluble problem in a clash with traditional views on the family and raising children.
Particular attention is drawn to the program “The Best” , which collected documentaries of various topics - from cooking to professional sports, which have successfully proven themselves in the world film distribution market. Here, the picture of V. Kosakovsky is interesting here "Long live Antipodes!"
Films of the jury will also be shown: Edgar Bartenev, Lily Van Den Berg, Iikki Vekhkalaki, Jacques Debsa. I recommend, with all my love for Finnish cinema, "Punk Syndrome" (directors of ICKA Karkkainen, Jay-Pi Passy)

The film about the most depthly Finnish punk group Pertti Kurikan Nimipäivät. Members of the group of Perty, Kari, Tony and themselves are people who suffer from a mental disorder. They play their music with inspiration and pride. We follow the travel of these professional musicians from the unknown to popularity. We see how they fight, fall in love and experience strong emotions; How they spend long days in the sound recording studio and on tour. They laugh, cry, drink and argue about who will sit on the front seats of the bus.
The Flartorty seminar, the creative meeting of the Shahverdiev Topy, Boris Karajov’s author's documentary “My“ Short Course ”, retrospective Yu. Schiller, student work of SPBUKIT and VGIK, the program of the Russian State Archive of Film Documents, the program of the US Embassy in Russia, documentary films of Central and Eastern Europe and much more can be seen.
The film-opening of the festival will be the Korean film "Old Friend" director Chun-Rul Lee . This is a touching story of the relationship of the eighty -year -old farmer and his forty -year -old bull. A simple story about friendship and devotion.
Only a small part of what will happen at the festival described above. Every year it goes brightly, interestingly, films cause a great response in the hearts of not only spectators, but also professionals from cinema.
