In Belarus, the activities of another human rights organization are prohibited

In Belarus, by a court decision, the activities of the Platform human rights organization were terminated - for non -proceedings on the time of tax returns and the inconsistency of the legal address of registration of the real one.

The Platform, created in 2011 by entrepreneur Andrei Bondarenko, who spent two years in prison on charges of economic crimes, was engaged in the protection of the rights of convicts.

According to Bondarenko, the court made a decision for political reasons, since his organization has long paid a fine for violation of tax requirements, and does not engage in commercial activities.
