The investigative department for Yekaterinburg of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region, together with the office of the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the Sverdlovsk Region, began a pre-investigation check in connection with the sale of literature for children about sex in stores in the city.
“As part of the inspection, investigators will establish the sources and circumstances of the supply of the specified literature for sale, and will also interview distributors and suppliers of the specified products. Based on the results of the inspection, the investigative authorities will make a procedural decision,” reports the investigative department of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region.

Grossman, “Sexual encyclopedia" by S. Montagna, "Girlhood" by M. Holmes and T. Hutchison, as well as the encyclopedia "Where Children Come From".
The issue of linguistic research of books is being resolved, senior assistant to the head of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the Sverdlovsk Region, Alexander Shulga, told the Interfax-Ural agency.
“We are talking about studying the content of books - how harmless they are for children and whether they contain pornography,” explained A. Shulga.
As previously reported, activists of the public foundation "Ural Parents Committee" during a raid on bookstores in Yekaterinburg found books about sex in the children's literature section, which, according to them, talk in detail about different types of sex, homosexuality, and also give a detailed description of " adult" terms.
Now activists of the fund are preparing appeals to the President, the Prosecutor General, the Ministry of Culture, as well as State Duma deputies with demands to stop the sale of “corrupting literature” to children and teenagers throughout Russia.
