TFR charged Konstantin Lebedev

The activist of the Russian socialist movement Konstantin Lebedev was charged as part of a criminal case of preparation for the organization of riots, reports the TFR. Lebedev was charged with committing a crime under paragraph 1 of Article 30, part 1 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code. In accordance with the requirements of the criminal procedure legislation, the charging procedure took place in the presence of Lebedev’s lawyer Violetta Volkova.

"Lebedev did not admit the guilt of the charges and testified due to the circumstances of the preparation of the preparation for the organization of riots that he was charged with," the TFR said in a statement.

On Wednesday, the TFR detained Lebedev 48 hours after interrogation in the criminal case on the preparation of riots. According to investigators, "eyewitnesses directly point to Lebedev as a person who committed a crime," Volkov wrote on Twitter.

The leader of the Left Front, Sergei Udaltsov, was also questioned and released under the recognizance not to leave. He was taken for interrogation after a search in his apartment. On Saturday in Moscow, a rally will be held in support of Udaltsov and other defendants in political affairs. The mayor's office agreed on rallies in support of the elections to the opposition Council on Saturday and Sunday on Trubnaya Square. The phonoscopic examination showed that the voice in the film "Anatomy of Protest-2" belongs to Udaltsov.
