The Basmanny court arrested for two months the 18th person involved in the case of the riots on Bolotnaya Square, Sergei Krivov , who was detained on Thursday . This was reported by a Gazeta.Ru correspondent from the courtroom.

According to him, the investigator argued the petition to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention against Krivov by the fact that the accused was repeatedly detained for administrative offenses, and also organizes single pickets at the Investigative Committee .

The correspondent added that testimony was taken from the riot police who were victims of Krivov in October, five months after the incident.
Previously, the activist was charged with participating in mass riots and using violence against a government official.

The activist is defended by the lawyer of the non-profit volunteer project “RosUznik” Ruslan Silchenko.

in connection with the riots on Bolotnaya Square On Thursday it became known that another suspect was detained - Muscovite Sergei Krivov, born in 1961. According to investigators, he snatched a PR-73 “rubber stick” from one of the police officers and struck the official with it.

Currently, there are 18 defendants in the Bolotnaya case, 12 of whom are being held in Moscow pre-trial detention centers .
