The Toyota plant will be built in the suburbs on the disposal of old cars

The management of Toyota Tsysho Corporation suggested that the Moscow Region authorities build a plant for the disposal of old cars in the region.

This proposal was made during a working visit to Japan by the chairman of the Moscow Region Government Andrei Sharov, which took place this week. There, he met with the leaders of 24 large transnational companies and discussed the possibility of cooperation in the construction of a garbage processing plant, a technopark and a factory for the disposal of old cars.

According to RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Government, Sharov announced his readiness to assist the Japanese in the construction of such a plant in the region.

According to the press service, the Japanese promise to build a unique plant, which is not yet in Russia. Such experience could be extended throughout the country, since, according to forecasts, at least three million cars per year will be disposed of in the near future in the Russian Federation.

During the meeting, the parties agreed that in the next month, representatives of the Japanese company will already come to Russia to watch the site for the future enterprise.

Now the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is developing a project to create a recycling industry. According to the Government Decree, car manufacturers will have to organize at their own expense at the territory of each region of the Russian Federation and in each settlement, urban district with a population of 500 thousand people or more points of reception and delivery of the subject to dispose of the car.

The volume of investments in the creation of recycling infrastructure in Russia for several years can amount to about two billion dollars.
