Putin created in his administration a public project department

President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the improvement of state policy in the field of patriotic education and formed the Department of Public Projects as part of his administration. Pavel Zenkovich was appointed the head of this department, the Kremlin website reports.

The decree was signed "in order to strengthen the spiritual and moral foundations of Russian society, improve state policy in the field of patriotic education, develop and implement significant public projects in this area," the report said.

The Regulation on the management says that its main tasks are the information-analytical and organizational support of the President of the Russian Federation of its constitutional powers to determine the main areas of state policy in the field of patriotic education.

Also, the management tasks include organizing and ensuring the interaction of the President with public associations and other structures of civil society.

Among the main functions of management are the analysis and forecasting of public processes in the country, as well as the collection and generalization of information about the position of central and regional media in relation to state policy in the field of patriotic education.

According to political scientists, the creation of such a separate management means that Putin headed for the formation of a certain unification idea around which society will be consolidated, Interfax notes. The new administration, together with the civil society, will determine the strategic priorities of the development of the state, experts surveyed by the agency believe.
